Managing & Clinical Director
Dr. Chamnan Nam, the co-founder of Melvin, is an experienced, skilled and highly dedicated dentist with a passion for both her profession and business. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Health Sciences in 2007 and a degree in Business Administration from Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) in 2009, and is a Post Graduate Resident, Master in Orthodontics at the University of Puthisastra, Cambodia. She has honed her clinical expertise working in numerous private practices for over 18 years.
Committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, she regularly pursues professional training and education both locally and internationally. Orthodontics is her primary focus, and from 2013 to 2015, completed the two-year Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (POS) live seminar course in Thailand. Her dedication led her to become a POS translator for Cambodian courses until the present day. Driven by a desire to tackle complex cases involving smile aesthetics and dento-facial orthodontic treatment, she advanced to the higher levels of orthodontics, demonstrating her commitment to providing the highest international standards of quality orthodontic care. Dr Chamnan is also the local trainer and mentors for American Orthodontics (AO), illustrating her commitment to inspiring the next generation of Cambodian orthondontic practitioners.
Dr. Nam's practice embraces comprehensive dentistry, incorporating her gentle communication and experiences for children and nervous customers of all ages, to help them feel less anxiety from the moment they step through the door. She is also certified in advanced IV sedation, expanding her ability to help patients with dental phobia.

Dr. Mith earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Puthisastra (UP) in Cambodia and has since dedicated himself to practicing general dentistry in Phnom Penh. His years of experience at a private clinic, combined with the training he received from specialists at UP, have earned him a reputation for meticulous attention to detail, particularly in aesthetic restorations. Dr. Mith is also passionate about serving his community, regularly participating in dental missions to provide primary care in Phnom Penh and other Cambodian provinces.
During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Mith broadened his horizons through exchange programs at Khon Kaen University in Thailand and an academic attachment at the UiTM Faculty of Dentistry in Malaysia. These experiences exposed him to cutting-edge knowledge and practices in developed countries.
Dr. Mith is committed to providing the best possible care, believing that a healthy and beautiful smile is its own reward. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry by reading scientific research.

Dr. Mean Saknopol is a dedicated general dentist, earning both his Bachelor's Degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Health Sciences, Cambodia. Dr. Saknopol has gained extensive experience providing comprehensive dental care in various private clinics and hospitals throughout the city.
During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Saknopol completed valuable internships at Preah Ang Duong Hospital and Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in oral pathology and minor oral surgery.
Professional Interests and Ongoing Development
Dr. Saknopol's primary professional interests lie in periodontology (the study of gum disease) and implantology (dental implants). He dedicates his spare time to researching and studying these fields, ensuring he can offer the most effective and optimal treatment outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Saknopol is passionate about delivering exceptional dental care with a gentle and professional touch. He continuously enhances his knowledge and skills by staying abreast of the latest scientific literature, analyzing clinical cases, and participating in weekly mentorship sessions.

He successfully completed The Peak Endodontic Course, further strengthening his ability to provide high-quality endodontic (root canal) treatments. He particularly enjoys the challenge of managing complex orthodontic cases and is always eager to expand his expertise in this area.
